Comfort Inn Southwest Fwy At Westpark Houston, Houston

I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The rooms were old and noisy, making it a bit challenging to get in with the key card not working properly, but they did have good basic amenities and were clean and comfortable. The service was friendly but a bit scruffy in appearance, and Ashley was responsive. The location was quite convenient, surrounded by various food places and in a good area with many hotels and restaurants around. The dining experience was average, with nothing particularly outstanding. Although there were some drawbacks, overall, it was decent for the price paid.

My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The rooms had a damp smell and showed signs of mold in some places, which was quite disgusting. We had trouble with the key card not working, forcing us to go around the building to get in, and the air conditioner was not functioning. On the bright side, the staff was very friendly and even offered us cold water upon checking in. They were accommodating enough to switch me to a suite when the AC in my initial room wasn't working properly.
